Welcome Back  - Term Two 2018

This Terms Value is RESPECT

Welcome back from the term break.  It was lovely to see many smiling faces arriving at school on the first day.  Term 2 is a longer term ending on 29th June.

We have a very energised term commencing with an intensive Swimming Program for Years 1 & 2, School Photos on 26th & Family photos on the 27th April.

Please note that the school will be closed on 25th April ANZAC Day, Friday 18th May is our next staff Training Day and Monday 11th June the Queen's Birthday long weekend.

Our Year 6 students are off to Canberra for a week from 30th April to 4th May.

Through our Health Hub, Olivia has organised for the bus from 'Teethonwheels' to visit the school for two weeks commencing Monday 4th June.  This new initiative aims to provide a positive experience for children when they visit the dentist.

Year 3 & Year 5 students will participate in the NAPLAN testing in the week beginning 14th may, while our Year 4, 5 & 6 students will complete the 'Attitude to Schools Survey' in the last weeks of May.

On Wednesday 13th June, the students will participate in Japanese Day, experiencing the customs, traditional music and clothing and food of japan.

Just prior to the end of Term, half of the classes in the Junior school will participate in the first 'Junior School Performing Arts' showcase on Thursday 21st June at 7.00pm.  The remaining Junior school classes will participate in their performance on Thursday 25th October.  Stay tuned for more information about the exciting performances.
